Idaho Insurance Professionals Committees
Bylaws--Sue Livingston Chair
Consider all written proposed changes of the national, regional,
and sate bylaws and standing rules and shall present them to
the association with recommendations. It shall also review any
local association bylaw changes and submit them for approval.
Education-Doris Callahan, CPIW, AIS, DAE, Chair
Shall recommend and supervise educational programs and courses
of study in insurance and related subjects. The Education Committee
shall promote NAIW programs. The committee shall keep the membership
advised of local, state, and national legislation affecting
the insurance industry and shall promote a legislative program.
Membership-
Shall receive applications for membership and make appropriate
recommendations to the Board of Directors. The committee may
give assistance in organizing new associations. The Sunshine
Girl and Reservation / Program Director are a subset of this
committee.
Public Relations-
Foster public relations and shall submit news items and photos
of association activities to local press and insurance industry
media, including the Today's Insurance Woman editor. This committee
coordinates the following projects: Community Outreach and Industry
Appreciation Banquet.
Finance-
Devise and after membership approval carry out ways of raising
funds for the organization based upon the needs outlined in
the budget.
Newsletter-Stacey Gerry, Chair
Edit, Publish and distribute the official publication to the
membership.
